Les Tranchées is a small hamlet, a "Lieu-dit" as we call it in French, of La Croisille-sur-Briance located in the Haute-Vienne, one of the three 'Départements' which constitute the 'Limousin'. We are situated in the North of the Massif Central. During wintertime, 'Les Tranchées' is inhabited by 4 people.

Our Bed and Breakfast is located in 'Le Parc Naturel de Millevaches'. With a total surface of 3.143km², it is the 6th largest nature park of France, counting approx. 30.000 inhabitants.
With a bit of luck, you might come across a deer, a wild boar or a fox cub during your walk or bike ride. Here, they run freely in the wild...
At 'Les Tranchées' one can catch his breath again, without a care in the world. The quiet is healing. The air is still pure just like our water, and both of a particularly good quality.
